This policy explains what information fullsilksongmap.com (the "site") handles when you visit, and the choices you have.

What we store

Full Silksong Map has no accounts. Your checklist and map progress are saved only in your own browser using localStorage. That data never leaves your device unless you export it yourself. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the site.

Analytics and server logs

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they come from. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and collects data such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and how you reached the site. We do not send Google your name, email or any personal details, and we use the reports only in aggregate. You can read how Google uses this data and opt out on any site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Advertising

The site may display ads served by Google AdSense. When it does:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Cookies

The site does not need cookies to work. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits, and advertising partners such as Google may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser when ads are shown. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the map and checklist keep working without them.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalized advertising cookies are used, and you can change that choice at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Third-party links

Fonts and scripts for the map are self-hosted. The site links to other websites, such as community wikis, which have their own privacy policies.
